Herrah Naveed

Herrah's passion for research and interest in reproductive health led her to focus on the experiences of adolescents in accessing emergency contraception. She is currently pursuing an honours degree at SPHERE Centre of Research Excellence, where she is based at the Department of General Practice, School of Public Health and Preventative Medicine, Monash University. Her research seeks to identify the barriers and challenges that adolescents face when seeking emergency contraception in pharmacy settings, with the goal of improving access to and utilization of these services. Herrah's academic background includes the completion of an undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science from Monash University with a major in physiology and minor in developmental biology. She hopes that her research will contribute to the development of policies and programs that can better support adolescents' sexual and reproductive health needs.
