Current Projects
Below are projects that may be of interest to primary care providers who are committed to improving the quality and delivery of sexual and reproductive health services to women in Australia.
Is it feasible to use general practice patient records to identify high-risk women for preconception care?
Preconception care is about enhancing the health of women and pregnancy outcomes by managing risk factors that can lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes. To deliver effective preconception care in general practice, it is important that general practitioners can easily identify women who are at high-risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes. This project aims to determine the feasibility of identifying reproductive-aged women at high risk of poor pregnancy outcomes through the review of electronic medical records.
