Dr Yi Ling Low
Dr Yi Ling Low is a Research Fellow for the ALLIANCE Trial within the SPHERE Centre of Research Excellence, where her main role is to oversee the overall implementation of the trial. Previously, Yi Ling was one of the two lead academic organisers of Monash Employability Week, a university-based program focused on enhancing employability for undergraduate pharmaceutical sciences students. Yi Ling holds a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences Advanced (Honours), majoring in formulation sciences, from Monash University. She was awarded her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, majoring in pharmacology, at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) in 2023. As part of her PhD, Yi Ling investigated the novel roles of microglial fatty acid-binding proteins in relation to neuroinflammation. Apart from her interest in pharmacology and biological technology, she is enthusiastic about women’s health. Yi Ling enjoys a good novel and going on long walks.
