Jenna has recently completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science with a Minor in Mathematics at Monash University in 2022. She has joined SPHERE to undertake her Honours research project under the supervision of Dr Jessica Botfield and Professor Danielle Mazza. She will be focusing on GPs’ views and experiences when providing contraception counselling and services at the 6-week postnatal check. During her undergraduate studies she had the opportunity to participate in an internship with ‘Kids Unlimited’ and work as a part of a contract research organisation which helped to gain research and laboratory work experience. Throughout this experience she looked at a new insulin regulated aminopeptidase inhibitor in the fight to reverse renal fibrosis. Jenna’s research will explore her interests in research and passions for women’s health.
